Titanic back in theaters in February

Notice to nostalgics: to mark the 25the movie anniversary titanicthe Paramount production house announced on Tuesday that it will be presented again in cinemas.


Jack and Rose’s love story, remastered in 4K, hits theaters February 10, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Directed by James Cameron, the feature film is one of the most awarded in the history of the Oscars. In 1998, it won 11 statuettes, a record equaled by only two other films, namely Ben Hur and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

With revenues of over $2 billion worldwide, titanic is the third most successful film at the box office.

This isn’t the first time the feature film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet has made a return to theaters. In April 2012, titanic had been presented again in theaters to mark the 100e anniversary of the sinking of the famous ship.
