After enormous success on TF1 from 2002 to 2008 and a timid return on W9 in 2019, the group’s channel M6 once again wanted to take the gamble and relaunch Temptation Island. In fact, the first episode of the new season hosted by Delphine Wespiser was broadcast this Thursday, January 18, 2024. The opportunity for viewers to discover the couples who will test themselves for two weeks in Mexico. Namely Maëva and Remy, Salomé and Timothy, Chloé and Jarod, Lidia and Gaëtan, or even Kelly and Enzo.
And the situation quickly became complicated for the couples when the necklace exchanges took place with the tempters. Exchanges which gave rise to several matches. Namely a match between Remy and the temptress Lisa-Marie, Jarod and Anaëlle, Chloé and the tempter Allen, Kelly and Quentin, and Maéva with the tempter Dylan. A final match that made Remy explode. Maeva asked her companion to be held accountable, who denied having made “the device out of politeness” when he gave a necklace to Lisa-Marie, who gave him one before.

Already breaks in “Temptation Island”
However, the young man did not appreciate that his muse gave one in turn. “She did something crazy” he cursed. Very upset, he refused to spend his last moments, before going to his beach, with his partner. “I did it out of politeness because she’s the only one who gave me a necklace. You know very well that the guy you chose is the one who looks the most like me. You had 10 , why did you choose him?”he said very upset before the young woman defended herself: “I gave a necklace to the one who didn’t have one, you did the same”. A defense that did not convince Remy: “But that’s our problem, you blame me for the things you do. But you’re crazy! You didn’t even take the time to turn around and come kiss me. You demand the respect you Don’t give me, you’re asking for attention that you’re not giving me! And I’m staying with you?”.
Besides the argument between Remy and Maeva, almost all the men were at fault. Or rather, got closer to their temptresses. Notably Timothy, who nevertheless promised Salomé that he would not fail. He admitted to having an attraction to young women who gave him a necklace and in particular Maëlys. From the first episode, the candidates were able to discover images of their companion getting closer to their rivals. Enough to seriously worry them.
