After the success of Wonka and movies Dune, Warner Bros. continues his association with Timothée Chalamet. The star has signed a first-look deal with the studio to collaborate on projects as an actor and producer, Warner Bros. announced Tuesday.
This doesn’t mean Chalamet can only make films with Warner Bros., just that the studio has a right of first refusal. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but it is a “multi-year” agreement.
The co-chairmen and CEOs of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group’s Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy said in a statement that they admired his care for his art and his “unwavering dedication to giving 100 percent of his time and attention to each project.”
In a statement, Chalamet said of Mr. De Luca and Mr.me Abdy: “They are studio heads who believe in true filmmaking, and I am very grateful for their support as an actor, producer and collaborator. This partnership seems like a natural next step. Let’s go! »
The 28-year-old actor was a producer of Bones and All by Luca Guadagnino and will also be producer and performer in the next “biopic” of Bob Dylan, A Complete Unknownwhich is currently filming.
