Monday, September 19, the British paid a last tribute to their queen. The funeral ceremony of Elizabeth II was held in London, but all over the country, these subjects followed the event.
It was in historic silence that the United Kingdom united in meditation on Monday, September 19. Around noon, the whole country froze to pay homage to Queen Elizabeth II. Some streets remained almost deserted. Even the department stores have lowered the curtain.

Families were able to attend the event remotely by watching the ceremony on a giant screen in Edinburgh.
