On the other side, the Rouge et Noir (4-14) ended their difficult campaign with an embarrassing 0-9 record at their home of TD Place.

Matt Shiltz, making his third start this season, completed 12 of 18 passes for 144 yards. Dane Evans took over in the third quarter and for part of the fourth quarter before Shiltz returned to his position.

Evans had seven of his nine attempts from the air caught for 117 yards. He was able to test his previously injured thumb in preparation for the playoff game against the Montreal Alouettes next weekend.

The Tiger-Cats (8-10) finished third in the East Division and will travel to Percival-Molson Stadium next Sunday to play in the East Semi-Final.

Caleb Evans got the start for the Rouge et Noir and completed 14 of 25 passes for 110 yards. Tyrie Adams had the opportunity to show off his skills in the fourth quarter.

On his first offensive streak, Adams guided Ottawa to the Tiger-Cats two-line and Evans completed the job for the Rouge et Noir’s lone touchdown.

Adams completed eight of 12 passes for 98 yards.
