Artemi Panarin scored his 24e goal of the season, a season high for the New York Rangers, in a 4-1 win against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.

Panarin, who played his first two seasons in the National Hockey League with the Blackhawks, collected at least one point in a sixth straight game. He has 53 in 37 games this season.

Chris Kreider, Jacob Trouba and Jimmy Vesey were the other scorers for the Rangers, who bounced back from a 6-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. The New York team is 10-1-0 this season in games following a loss.

Vincent Trocheck collected three assists and Igor Shesterkin made 21 saves in the victory. The Russian goaltender has a record of 16-8-0 this season.

Former Rangers Colin Blackwell scored for the Blackhawks, who have lost a fourth straight game and six of their last seven. Petr Mrazek stopped 27 pucks.

The Rangers have won six of their last seven duels against the Illinois team and have won 12 of their 16 games against teams from the West since the start of the campaign.
