Predators shut out Panthers 3-0

Filip Forsberg scored a double and the Nashville Predators extended their point streak to 16 games by defeating the Florida Panthers 3-0 on Thursday.

This is the longest such streak for the Predators, who also collected at least one point in 15 straight games from February 17 to March 19, 2018 (14-0-1).

Gustav Nyquist also made the red light shine and Kevin Lankinen stopped 33 pucks to help the Tennessee team strengthen its position among the drafted teams in the Western Conference.

Sergei Bobrovsky signed a performance of 34 saves. The Panthers were still shut out for the second time in three games.

This is the first time this campaign that the Panthers have lost three games in a row in regulation time. Despite everything, they remain in second position in the Atlantic section.

Artemi Panarin scored a hat trick and the New York Rangers defeated the Boston Bruins 5-2 on Thursday.

His second goal came when the Bruins’ Jake DeBrusk sent the puck into his own goal late in the second period.

Adam Fox and Mika Zibanejad also scored for the New Yorkers, undefeated in three games against Boston this season.

Jonathan Quick made 24 saves for the Rangers, winning six of their last eight games.

Boston’s response came from DeBrusk and Justin Brazeau.

Jeremy Swayman stopped 26 shots for the Bruins, who had won three straight games.

Larkin scores twice in 6-3 Red Wings win

Dostal became the third rookie in Ducks history to post a shutout after John Gibson (six) and Ilya Bryzgalov (one).

Alex Killorn scored a double in the victory. Frank Vatrano scored his 30e goal by hitting the target during a five-on-three sequence. He is the second undrafted player to reach the board with the Ducks, after Andy McDonald.

Brett Leason was the other scorer for the Ducks.

Arvid Soderblom made 21 saves for the Blackhawks, who suffered their third loss in four games.

Leo Carlsson, second selection in the 2022 NHL draft, did not return to the game after contact with Alex Vlasic in the second period.
