There is great concern in Italy. After heavy rains, three young people went missing. Images of them stranded in the middle of a river stirred up a lot of emotion.
Trapped by the river, exhausted, the three young people, aged 20 to 25, try to resist the flood as best they can. The firefighters arrived on site and tried to recover them from their crane with a rope, without success. Taken away on Friday May 31 in the early afternoon, they are still missing.
The tragedy occurred in the region of Udine (Italy), in the village of Premariacco, on yellow flood alert. The part of the Natisone River, off-limits because it is known for its floods, still seemed calm when they arrived, but they found themselves trapped within minutes. They had come to see their parents for the weekend. The country is suspended from information provided by firefighters. A student’s cell phone was found on the shore. Saturday June 1, the three students are still actively sought.
