Three vehicles burned in Longueuil

(Longueuil) Three vehicles were set on fire in the Saint-Hubert borough, in Longueuil, during the night from Thursday to Friday. No one was injured in the event, but police have opened an investigation.


According to the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department, the fire which affected the vehicles broke out around 12:45 a.m. in the parking lot of a business on Chemin Chambly.

The Longuillois police force had few details on Friday morning, but still indicated that “the events lead (them) to believe that it was a fire of a criminal nature”.

The flames caused no injuries and did not damage nearby businesses.

A security perimeter was set up to allow analysis of the scene.

Friday morning, the Longueuil police reported no arrests in connection with this incident.
