The investigation into the violent incidents in the stands during the match between PFC and OL continues. Tuesday, December 21, the police headquarters announced that three ultra supporters had been identified and arrested after initial investigations.

Clashes broke out on Friday, December 17 in the Lyon parking lot, at half-time for the Coupe de France match. Spectators had to leave the stand to keep away from the overflows, going to stand on the athletics track which borders the field, causing a large crowd movement. ATwhen the 22 actors of the match returned on the lawn, dozens of people had invaded the field of the Charléty stadium. After about fifty minutes of waiting, it was finally decided not to resume the meeting.

French football authorities are also investigating the excesses. Parisians and Lyonnais will be heard on December 27, and the disciplinary committee of the French Football Federation will deliver its verdict the next day, December 28.
