Three trucks set on fire in Saint-Michel

(Montreal) Three trucks were heavily damaged in the middle of the night Thursday, in northeast Montreal, by fires started on purpose, in all likelihood.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reports that a call made around 3:30 a.m. to the 911 telephone exchange revealed that the three trucks were engulfed in flames near the intersection of Boulevard Saint-Michel. and rue Champdoré, in the Saint-Michel district.

Police report that while fighting the fire, firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department (SSIM) found evidence that the fire in the three vehicles was of criminal origin.

The investigation was therefore entrusted to the arson squad of the SPVM.
