329 personalities were distinguished in the traditional promotion of the Legion of Honor on July 14. And among these names, we find that of three Samarians, all elevated to the rank of knight. We thus find, Bénédicte Thiébaut, the mayor of Roiglise, near Roye, and president of the mayors of the Somme ; Françoise Crété, President of the Somme Chamber of Agriculture; and Stéphane Haussoulier, president of the Somme departmental council.
Among the other appointments, note the elevations to the order of Grand Cross, the highest rank, of three personalities: actress and activist Line Renaud, lawyer Serge Klarsfeld and former Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
