The return of the sun is synonymous with pollen. In addition to medications, a few actions can help limit allergy symptoms.

With the good weather, the pollen returns, Friday April 5. Those of cypress, birch and plane trees are the most allergenic at the beginning of April. “I’m crying, my nose is itchy, my eyes are watering and it’s very painful”, testifies a retiree. The national pollen monitoring network has placed three quarters of France at high allergy risk. Antihistamine, consult a doctor… Everyone has their own technique against allergies.

Have a healthy lifestyle

A pharmacist notes an increase in requests to combat allergy symptoms. “Plants useful against allergies will mainly be plantain and blackcurrant, which have anti-inflammatory actions”, explains Sherone Chaussard, Rochat Totum Antibes pharmacist. These medications should be combined with a healthy lifestyle: washing your nose, eyes and brushing your hair. You should avoid leaving your car windows open or hanging your laundry outside.
