Three people were killed in two shootings in two days in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis). Investigators suspect that these cases are linked to rivalries between drug traffickers.
A person was shot and killed in broad daylight in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis), Sunday May 5. A few meters further on, another victim lies on the ground. A man tries to resuscitate her. Around 6:15 p.m., a shooter opened fire on the two victims around twenty times, before fleeing. The settling of scores, which would be linked to drug trafficking, took place in front of numerous witnesses. “Many children are traumatized”says a mother.
Another shootout
This double homicide comes less than two days after another shooting where a man was killed and six others injured. At this stage, no link has been proven between the two cases, but police sources speak of growing rivalries between two gangs, one in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis), the other in Aulnay-sous-Bois ( Seine-Saint-Denis). For the police chief, this is the consequence of anti-drug operations carried out by the police forces.
