Three people were arrested in Quebec for injuries, threats and kidnapping

(Quebec) The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) reports that three people were arrested Monday afternoon for assault with injury, threats and kidnapping, in the borough of Beauport.


Agent Sandra Dion, spokesperson for the SPVQ, reports that 911 received a call around 4:38 p.m. regarding “disorder” near a shopping center located in the Beauport sector. She specifies that the victim, who had taken refuge in a business, gave the description of the suspect vehicle.

The police then located the vehicle mentioned near the shopping center and proceeded to arrest the three individuals who were inside.

Two men and a woman were arrested for assault causing injury, threats and kidnapping.

The police add that the forensic identification unit and a dog handler attended the scene and that the investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are to be met later by investigators.
