Clashes erupted in Chambéry this Saturday, January 8 at the end of the afternoon during the demonstration against the health policy of the government. The procession headed towards the Leclerc store located near avenue de la Boisse. The police tried to stop them. It was then that a man in his fifties attacked a police officer by kicking it. The police immediately arrested him.
A barrier thrown at a police car
The demonstrators then headed for the SNCF station. There, two other men were arrested by the police after launching a construction barrier on a police vehicle. They are around forty years old for one and about twenty years old for the other. As these incidents occurred near the Voie Rapide Urbaine (VRU), the Boisse exit was closed for a few minutes in the direction Aix-les-Bains – Grenoble.
