The investigation is progressing. Three suspects are actively sought after the murder of former rugby player Federico Martin Arumburu on March 19 in Paris, according to information from France Télévisions. Among these suspects is a far-right activist, who had already distinguished himself for acts of violence. He was identified by witnesses and CCTV footage.

The facts took place around 6 a.m. on boulevard Saint-Germain, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, after a “dispute” between two groups of people at Le Mabillon bar. The bouncers of the establishment managed to separate the two groups who then left the premises. But the suspects returned in a Jeep and opened fire on the 42-year-old former player, who was returning to his hotel.

A flagrant investigation for “assassination” has been opened and entrusted to the criminal brigade, announced the Paris prosecutor’s office.
