Something new in the PPDA case. Three new women have come forward to justice, announced the Nanterre prosecutor’s office, requested by AFP on Wednesday April 19. The judicial body also informed that the investigations as part of the preliminary investigation for rape and sexual assault targeting Patrick Poivre d’Arvor were relaunched on Wednesday. These women will soon be heard by the investigators.

Ten women have already filed a complaint

This investigation was opened in December 2021 and 19 women have already been heard, 10 of whom have filed a complaint, according to the count of the prosecution in March. In addition to this procedure, PPDA has been the subject of another preliminary investigation, closed, and is still the subject of a judicial investigation in Nanterre.

For his part, the former presenter filed a complaint for slanderous denunciation against a dozen complainants. But he withdrew his complaint for defamation against the newspaper Le Parisien, announced his lawyer Philippe Naepels to franceinfo.
