A three-month-old infant died Wednesday evening at the Fontainebleau hospital center (Seine-et-Marne) after being shot in the chest, franceinfo learned from reliable sources on Thursday October 26.
According to a source close to the case, it was the father of this three-month-old girl who presented himself at the hospital with his seriously injured infant on Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. The man then explained that he found his baby injured at his home, while he was returning from an errand in Paris. His partner was no longer in their house.

Despite the care provided, the infant died in the evening. This man, aged 54 and unknown to the courts, was then arrested by the police at the hospital and placed in police custody. After this arrest, searches were launched by the gendarmerie to find his wife.
