Three thirty-somethings killed themselves in the mountains on Saturday June 17, reports France Bleu Isère. The first fatal accident involves two experienced mountaineers who had embarked on a very technical route of the north face of the Dôme des Neiges des Ecrins, on the Meyer Dibona voice.

Aged about 30, the two mountaineers fell several hundred meters and their bodies were discovered by a hiker. According to information from France Bleu Isère, a civil security helicopter brought their bodies back to La Bérarde, a hamlet in the town of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans (Isère).

The other accident concerns a follower of wingsuit flight, an extreme sport which consists of launching into the void equipped with a simple suit acting as a wing. The 30-year-old from Ain set off from the northeast face of the Grande Tête de l’Obiou (Isère), located in the Dévoluy massif. He hit the cliff and did not survive the impact.
