The town of Sevran, in Seine-Saint-Denis, was the scene of a fatal shooting on Sunday May 5, two days after another shooting which left one dead.
In Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis), two men were killed in broad daylight, in the street, Sunday May 5, during a shooting. Around 6:15 p.m., a man shot the two victims at close range before fleeing. Around twenty shell casings were found on site. The very violent scene took place in front of families and children present in the park. “It happened when the children were outside,” testifies a woman.
Drug trafficking involved?
Columns of law enforcement deployed throughout the city to respond to these shootings. Friday May 3, in the same town, a man was killed and six others injured. Investigators are studying the trail of a rivalry linked to drug trafficking between Sevran and Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis). Could this weekend’s homicides be reprisals? For the Paris police prefect, Laurent Nuñez, they would rather be the consequence of operations “Clean square”. The judicial police were contacted.
