Three people were killed and twelve injured during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday February 14 during Russian bombings against Selydove, near Donetsk in eastern Ukraine. These strikes hit nine apartment buildings as well as the hospital in this town, located about twenty kilometers west of the front, the municipal council said on Telegram.

A child was among those killed, and four among the injured. Around 100 patients from the damaged hospital were evacuated to other hospitals in Pokrovsk and Myrnograd. No source immediately specified what type of strikes were (missiles, drones or artillery fire). Selydove, which had around 21,000 inhabitants before the war, is located in the vicinity of the large city of Donetsk, which has been occupied by Russia since 2014.

Furthermore, Russia claimed to have neutralized nine Ukrainian drones overnight in two Russian regions and over the Black Sea. “Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed drones over the territories of Belgorod regions [deux drones] and Voronezh [un drone]as well as over the Black Sea [six drones], the Russian Defense Ministry said. Since the start of the offensive against Ukraine in February 2022, Russian territory has been regularly targeted by strikes and drone attacks attributed to kyiv.
