This Saturday, December 25, three people including two children died in a car accident in Wattrelos. Two other victims were hospitalized in serious condition. The vehicle would have left the road.
On Christmas Eve, around 11 p.m., a serious accident killed at least three people, including two children.
A car with five people on board, would have hit a tree before ending up in a barrier, boulevard Pierre-Mendès France in Wattrelos, near Lille.
When they arrived on site, the emergency services noted that an adult had already died, two children in cardio-respiratory arrest could not be resuscitated.
The firefighters had to cut up the car to extricate a second adult, trapped in the passenger compartment. He was transported to the Lille hospital center in serious condition with a third child, also in absolute urgency.
For this intervention, significant relief resources were mobilized: four SMUR teams as well as around thirty firefighters, coming from the barracks of Roubaix, Tourcoing and Marcq-en-Barœul.
