Three people died and twelve others were injured on Monday, November 13, during strikes on the center of Kherson, in southern Ukraine, according to local authorities. They also have “destroyed or damaged” a hospital, an administrative building, around fifteen houses and an ambulance, he said

Two people, a 62-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, were killed and ten others injured in an artillery attack on the center of the city, the region’s governor, Oleksandr Prokudin, said on Telegram .

Anniversary of the liberation of the city

Earlier in the day, a Russian artillery strike also hit a car in a suburb of the city, killing a man and injuring a two-month-old child, the head of Kherson’s military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported.

The country celebrated on Saturday the first anniversary of the liberation of Kherson by its army, which ended eight months of Russian occupation. But Moscow’s army remains very close to the area. Only the Dnipro River separates them from the city, which is bombarded almost daily. Ukrainian troops hold the right bank and are facing the Russian army, on the left bank, which still occupies part of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
