HAS Brienon-sur-Armançon (Yonne), the river has invaded the streets and houses. The peak of the flood was reached late in the afternoon. A resident notices the damage. A winegrower impacted for the second time in a month
The flood is also impressive in Chablis (Yonne). For the second time in a month, a winegrower’s equipment took on water. “The bottom of the machines was bathed in water. However, they are raised”, explains Thomas Labille, winemaker. In the cellar, barrels were soaked. On another estate, installed in an old mill, the water did not rise as high as in 2013, but everything will have to be cleaned. Far from waterways, the vines were not impacted.
