The attack targeted the gendarmerie post in the village of Laoudou, 17 km south of Niamey, on the road leading to W Park, straddling the borders of Niger, Burkina Faso and Benin.
Last week, “civilian victims” were also discovered after air strikes by the Nigerien army against “terrorists”, near the border with Burkina Faso, announced the military regime in power in Niamey since July 26, after overthrowing the elected president, Mohamed Bazoum.
