Three brothers from Reunion aged 21, 24 and 28 were judged this Tuesday by the correctional court of Laval, in Mayenne, for having illegally entered the Robert Buron high school in Laval on September 20 in order to settle their account with a student who had had an altercation with their cousin. They got each of four months suspended sentence. One of them was carrying a weapon and blows were exchanged with four victims.
“Their attitude borders on outrage”
At the helm, these three young people do not seem to understand why they are there. They laugh, talk to each other while the president goes back over the facts and often respond on the side. One of them is even surprised when he learns that his brother has had a child. “Their attitude borders on outrage”, even launches the lawyer of a victim who is a civil party, “I don’t know if they realize the fear of high school students at that time”adds the public prosecutor.
Screwdriver and brass knuckles
That day, the three defendants decide to avenge a quarrel between their cousin and a high school student. Two of the defendants arrive by scooter, they enter the premises of the establishment without authorization, helped by a student and seek their target. The last brother, the 24-year-old, wears brass knuckles and a screwdriver and also enters high school. He does not use these weapons but exhibits them in front of the frightened and shocked high school students.
Hits are recognized, violence in meetings and the carrying of weapons as well. The one with brass knuckles had also used narcotics.
