Queues at the Russian border continue to grow, Wednesday, September 28. Young Russians are trying to reach Georgia and Kazakhstan.
In Russia, Wednesday, September 28, the flight continues to escape the war and a possible mobilization in the ranks of the army. We are witnessing a very significant exodus at the borders. More than 260,000 Russians are said to have left the country. The queues are getting longer. Some even flee on bicycles, as in Georgia. “There is huge traffic on the Russian side. We are stuck at the border for more than 24 hours. There are a lot of young men”explains a Russian, bicycle in hand.
Georgia is one of the countries that do not require entry visas from Russian citizens. This destination is therefore favored by fugitives. It is the same situation at the border with Kazakhstan. In Ural (Kazakhstan), the city closest to the border, the queues are getting longer in front of the Ministry of the Interior. Young Russians seek to regularize their situation.
