thousands of people demonstrated in support of Gaza on the streets of London

Like every Saturday for five months, more than 200,000 demonstrators gathered this Saturday March 9 in London, in support of Gaza. The United Kingdom is home to the largest Palestinian rights organization in Europe. Protesters carry Palestinian flags and signs with messages of support for Gaza. They call for a ceasefire and a free Palestine. Scotland Yard once again fears being confronted with a wave of anti-Semitism. They also fear threats to elected officials.

90% of the population on the verge of starvation

“The United States says it will build a port to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, because Israel does not allow access”, explains Ben Jamal, director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. According to the United Nations, more than 90% of Gaza’s population is currently on the verge of starvation.
