It has now been more than four years since Johnny Hallyday passed away after a long battle with illness. That said, the Taulier continues to exist in the minds of fans who still honor his memory as much as those close to him.
Since this Tuesday, March 29, 2022, it is possible to discover or rather rediscover the emblematic star. Indeed, the interpreter‘Light the fire was honored with a Netflix documentary called Johnny by Johnny. In this one, no new big revelations since it is actually archive footage of his interviews which made it possible to trace his career chronologically. A way to return to the good as the worst moments of the star.
Thus, the documentary made it possible to return to a terrible moment in his life: the day he tried to end his life as entrusted by Pascal Obispo. Besides, his ex-girlfriend Adeline Blondieau also sank because of their marriage to the point of having thought of the worst.
That said, there was a moment in his career when everything almost changed because of a stroke of the scalpel. While he was to perform in Las Vegas, Johnny Hallyday began to suffer from angina blanche due to stress. Forced to cancel his date, he returned some time later to take his revenge. But nothing went as planned.
Indeed, Johnny Hallyday had difficulty singing because of his mouth which had just been redone in November 1996. At the time, the lips looked like “a duck’s mouth” because the stars used botox and not hyaluronic acid as is done now. This desire for a scalpel was actually advice from his wife Laeticia.
Moreover, this passage of his life has already been counted in the book Laeticia: the real story by Laurence Pieau and Francois Vignolle. The beautiful blonde would then have advised him: “Mamour, you should get your mouth plumped up“. Finally : “The result is catastrophic. The teen idol inherited a duck mouth“. To camouflage the disaster, the rocker then let a mustache grow… Quite a technique!
