Thor: Love and Thunder clings to the top of the Quebec box office, while confessions by Luc Picard slipped to fifth place.

The superhero movie raked in $253,000 over the weekend, according to data from agency Cinéac. The Disney Studios blockbuster brings its run-up to $4,373,000. For its part, the animated film DC Krypto Super Dog came in 2e position with $232,000, ahead Minions 2: Once Upon a Time Gru with $208,000. Following Top Gun appears at 4e echelon with $165,000. The feature film starring Tom Cruise could cross the $10,000,000 mark in the next few weeks, since its total currently stands at $9,441,000.

Quebec film confessions raised $132,000 from Friday to Sunday. So far, the feature film directed by Luc Picard has grossed $660,000.

Portrait of the hitman Gérald Gallant after a screenplay by Sylvain Guy (Blacklist, Mafia Inc.) freely inspired by a book by journalists Éric Thibault and Félix Séguin, confessions could soon become the highest-grossing Quebec film of 2022. For now, this title is held by norbourg by director Maxime Giroux. Released in the spring, the drama starring Vincent-Guillaume Otis and François Arnaud grossed $739,000 during its movie stint.
