Thomas Pesquet is angry. The French astronaut was carried away, Wednesday, August 31, against Internet users who diverted comments he made on France 2 on Sunday, on the eve of the (aborted) launch of the Artemis mission. “We’re really going to go very far, as far as no human being has ever gone from Earth“, he had declared.
Words read by some as a “evidence” that man would never have been on the moon, a theory that has been circulating in conspiratorial circles since the first steps of Neil Armstrong in 1969. “But why do we have to waste precious time on this again: of course yes, the human went to the Moon during the Apollo missions. And we will go back there”hammered the astronaut.
But why do we have to waste precious time on this again: of course yes, humans went to the moon during the Apollo missions. And we’re going back.

And to continue: “It makes me drunk to write all this. It shouldn’t and I should be more patient, but it’s infuriating. The guys who tell you ‘we’re lying to you, look, the truth is here, I’m not lying to you , of course’, doesn’t that seem a bit easy?”. The astronaut concluded his thread by giving an appointment on our satellite in a few years.
