The tragedy occurred on the night of Sunday May 15 to Monday May 16, 2022, during the closing evening of the gastronomic event Taste of Paris, at the Grand Palace. In front of door C reserved for professionals, a violent argument broke out between two men and the evening ended in a bloodbath. After the brawl, he was taken to the Georges Pompidou hospital in the 15th arrondissement of Paris and his condition quickly stabilized.
