This is what the TSN network said on Saturday.

The “Sens” were unable to qualify for the playoffs in 2021-2022, for a fifth consecutive campaign.

Chabot was the Senators’ most-used player this season, averaging 26 minutes and 12 seconds on the ice per game. It’s the second-highest average in the National League, after Chicago Blackhawks guard Seth Jones (26:13).

In 59 games in 2021-2022, the Sainte-Marie native hit the target seven times and provided 31 assists for 38 points. He also maintained a -3 rating. It will also be Chabot’s third participation in the World Championship.

In addition, his Senators teammates Drake Batherson (Canada) and Tim Stützle (Germany) will also be in the competition, which will take place from May 13 to 29 in Finland.
