this unexpected turn of events for his documentary

It has been thirteen years since Diam’s quit music and withdrew from the media world. However, she remains unforgettable in the eyes of her fans. Although many hoped that she would return one day with a new album, Vitaa or even Amel Bent were formal: it will never happen.

That said, the former rapper recently spoke about a new project that will appeal to her audience. In his documentary called Hello, Diam’s will come back to key moments in his career. In particular his periods of descent into hell. This is what she explained on Instagram where she wrote: “My depression, my suffering, my quest, my rebirth: a film? an entertainment ? (…) I was touched that people were interested in my background, but it was impossible for me to let strangers speak for me. So I took up the pen again. The one with which I have always liked to indulge (…) There is certainly the story of Diam’s behind the woman I am today, but it is also a human story, and a quest that can echo the story of so many people wondering how to find inner peace while lost in the maze of life”.

While this documentary is going to be presented at the Cannes Film Festival, rumors speculated that Diam’s might make an appearance there. Something that was denied by Bernard Montiel and Cyril Hanouna in Do not touch My TV.

That said, new information has just fallen on this project done in collaboration with BrutX. “Salam, the documentary film by @melaniediams, #houdabenyamina and @the_anne_cisse, will exceptionally be released in theaters on July 1 and 2. Official selection and world premiere at @festivaldecannes on May 26” announced the platform on its Instagram account.

Something to please his fans. Moreover, it is a bit similar to what Nekfeu did at the time of the Etoiles Vagabondes in 2019. It remains to be seen whether this will leave room for other surprises.
