this talent of “The Voice” who amazed the five coaches almost never participated in the show because of a financial concern

Saturday March 4, 2023 was broadcast a new episode of The Voice on TF1. Zazie, Amel Bent, Vianney, Bigflo and Oli let themselves be lulled by the voices of the different talents who came to participate in the show. Among them, Micha. This 17-year-old high school student performed well during the blind auditions by singing Stand Up by Cynthia Erivo in tribute to the film Harrietwhich raises the issue of slavery.

A performance that convinced everyone, but in the end it was Amel Bent’s team that the singer finally joined. “It was logical that I go with Amel Bent, because we have a bit of the same musical world. We will say that it was not very complicated. Afterwards, the other coaches spoke very well, it could have turn in their favour, but no… I stuck to my original idea”he said in an interview with Tele-Leisure.

Originally from Guyana, Micha flew for the very first time to take part in this adventure. But this great ordeal was not easy to overcome…

“When I say it hasn’t been easy to get here, it’s just that, financially it’s not incredible”dropped the one who had never been on a TV set before his participation in tele-hook. “For the blind auditions, we had to manage the plane tickets, and it was a bit complicated. We had to make small sacrifices… And I’m here now. I had opened a kitty for raise some money. I made a kitty, but I didn’t share it too much either because I wanted a little privacy. I shared it with people who were quite close”.

The young man also hopes that his career will be similar to that of Lisandro Cuxi or Abi, both winners of the program in 2017 and 2020!
