Nathalie Marquay at the heart of the scandal. On August 9, the widow of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, who died on March 2, 2022 following cancer, provoked the anger of viewers during her adventure in
Traitors , program broadcast on M6. The reason ? The former beauty queen proved her loyalty by swearing at her late husband’s grave during the finale. “I feel accused, Andy has twisted your brain. She swore I said I would vote against you. Not at all. I wouldn’t vote against you. I want you to trust me and I don’t want to don’t let anyone twist your brain”, she said to Norbert Tarayre.
To defend herself, the former Miss France then took out her trump card. “I’m going to look you in the eyes and I’m going to dare tonight. I’m going to dare to do something where it will knock you all out. But I’m going to do it because I have my man who is by my side, even if he’s gone up there. I look you straight in the eye and I swear to you on my husband’s grave that I am loyal.” Words which had the effect of a bomb and which his friend Philippe Risoli had difficulty accepting.

“She says what she thinks”
