Monday, January 24, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine received in C to you on France 5, Christiane Taubira. The former Minister of Justice announced on Sunday January 9 that she would submit to the result of the popular Primary, organized from January 27 to 30 with a view to nominating a left-wing candidate for the presidential election. According to her, this primary “is the last space where we have an opportunity to have a candidate who emerges from a democratic and civic nomination”. The latter has “observed over time that each and everyone stays in their lane and that this amounts to ignoring the presidential election”. Problem, neither Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Yannick Jadot or even Anne Hidalgo in the presidential race, will recognize the outcome of the ballot.
On set, the politician answered several questions from citizens in Matthieu Belliard’s 5/5, in particular on retirement. “A minimum of dignity: I propose that the retirement be, at least, at 1000 euros. And for those who have worked all their life, it must be at least at the minimum wage”, she said. In addition to having detailed her position on the vaccine and on the vaccine pass, she answered a question about Eric Zemmour. Could she debate with the presidential candidate?
“In politics, I am not afraid, I fight. I observe a great porosity between the Republican right and the far right (…) And if I have to debate with Éric Zemmour, I will do it, but it will be without joy”, she said with a closed face.
