The weight of words… the shock of photos! The slogan of Paris Match hits harder than ever. Because one of them, published in the edition of March 30, 2023, is currently touring the networks in humorous mode. The weekly, which has always been glamorous, took an interest in the couple formed by host Nagui and actress Mélanie Page. Usually quite discreet about their family cocoon, the parents of Roxane (18), Annabel (14) and Adrien (10), accepted the game of private confidences, explaining in particular how the presenter-producer had to move to satisfy his sweetheart. Nagui indeed lived in Saint-Cloud, in the Yvelines: “The setting was perfect, but it’s true that everything closed at 6 pm.”, he explains while the actress was a fervent Parisian. The lovebirds ended up finding a cozy nest in Montmartre, in the 18th arrondissement of the capital. “It’s very quiet, there is no engine noise, we are in a bubble”, then frees Nagui in front of his wife (of Australian and British origins) who swears only by the capital: “I was raised by foreigners who moved here out of love. I too loved the bridges, the monuments, the streets. For years, I did everything on foot“, she explains with a visible enthusiasm that forced her husband (since 2010) to move.

A “same caustic humor and cash”
Their meeting ? In 1999, in Saint-Tropez. The young blonde was filming at the time in the hit series Under the sun alongside Adeline Blondieau and others. And the dark brown from Egypt does not hide having had a real crush on her! After months of diligent courtship, the actress had finally yielded to the host. A story that, 24 years later, lasts like the first day. Nagui even reveals that Mélanie, in addition to being the perfect mother of their three children, was a wonderful mother-in-law with her first daughter, Nina, born from her union with the host Marine Vignes. But enough memories, what interests Internet users today are less the words… than the photos published by Paris Match ! While the magazine publishes on its Instagram account a snapshot of the lovebirds with this caption: “Between them, the language is also flowery. Same caustic humor and cash: for more than two decades that Mélanie Page and Nagui tease each other like teenagers. The two make a pair. Their secret: talking and listening to each other.” Internet users almost saw it as a joke: “I almost choked I believed first degree that it was Nagui and Taylor Swift”! And it is clear that the resemblance between Ms. Nagui and the young American singer who hits the charts is quite obvious! We have no doubt that she will surely take it as a compliment to be compared to her 14-year-old younger sister.
