A news that should not please everyone!
Harry and Meghan are due to travel to the UK next September to attend charity events “who are close to their hearts”. The couple’s last time in the UK was for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June, but their presence was fairly low-key. Lilibet and Archie’s parents will attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester on September 5, which brings together young leaders from over 190 countries. During the visit, Prince Harry and his wife will also participate in the event Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Goin Germany.
The former actress, who is an advisor for One Young World with other personalities such as Sir Richard Branson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, will deliver a speech during the opening ceremony. Prince Harry and Meghan will also attend the WellChild Awards in London where the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II will deliver a speech.
The move comes amid a legal dispute over the Sussexes’ safety in the UK. Last July, William’s little brother won a bid to challenge the Home Office in the High Court over its decision not to grant him police protection in the UK for him and his family. Note that he lost his taxpayer-funded police security after stepping down from royal duties.
