this new announced project that will delight the most nostalgic

At 80, Michel Drucker has lost none of his motivation and energy. However, some of his fans believed that the journalist was going to admit defeat when he was hospitalized and that his state of health was not reassuring. But whoever receives his guests on the famous red armchairs of Can’t wait for Sunday for many years proved that he needed much more to let himself be defeated.

In the columns of Telestarhe admits all the same having thought and seen death watching him from afar when he was at his worst. “Yes, when I was hospitalized. I was told that following the operation I was going to undergo, I had a 40% risk of staying there”he confided to our colleagues before admitting: “I then thought that I was going to join all those I loved. Finally, I stayed for months in my room not seeing anyone since visits were prohibited because of the health crisis”.

The return of a cult show

Now back on his feet, Michel Drucker follows a drastic training to keep in shape. A training that also allowed him to have the necessary energy to ensure the return to school: “I kept the same training rhythm as the one I followed when I was rehabilitating. I do one hour of sport a day, rowing, with the device that Jean-Claude Killy gave me; I have my abs mat and I have my bike”.

With fourteen kilos less, the journalist had the impression of being “a shadow. The chances of life meant that I had a year to recover out of sight, during the year of Covid and confinement, when everything was culturally at a standstill”. And his fans will no doubt be very happy to learn that Michel Drucker has no intention of abandoning them. Better still, it announced a new project that will delight the most nostalgic. “I’ll give you a scoop: for December, we are preparing two prime time programs on France 3 which will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Champs-Élysées!”he announced.
