For some time now, a new program concept has appeared on the PAF. The observation of families has become very trendy. The success of “Mamans & Célèbres” or “Large families, life in XXL” on the channels of the TF1 group is proof of this. Everyone is passionate about the daily life of these households, which lead a rather unusual life. So in order to surf on the same theme, it is the M6 group which has this time chosen to draw its own show. But the chain has decided to go even further and to offer a family with a rather unknown profession. If the series Six feet under, a real television gem sewn with gold threads, follows the tribulations of the Fischer family who run a funeral home, 6ter has decided to have its own undertakers. But these are very real!
6ter offers a documentary series on funeral agents
“They do an essential job, but we know almost nothing about them.”, announces the pre-credits. From February 17, 2022, the channel belonging to the M6 group will offer Mortal Families, a not trivial documentary series in which we will follow the daily life of families of undertakers. Designed as a documentary series and adapted from a BBC program, this program will tell the unusual daily life of families who have chosen a job that can seem confusing: Funeral agent. Through the different profiles of four families who agreed to be filmed and followed in their daily lives, the M6 group channel will reveal behind the scenes of this relatively unknown and intriguing universe. The bet is therefore quite daring for but the show should also offer its share of rather comical moments and should twist the necks of many clichés. In this first season, the Peschets, Vigo-Habran, Fontan and Day-Michel open the doors of their somewhat special business to you. All participants, passionate about the same profession, want to show that, behind this extraordinary work, hide ordinary people.
