This Friday, October 20, 2023, Jarry was faithful to his post at the helm of Everyone wants to take its place. The host witnessed a surprise marriage proposal from one of the candidates, to his partner present in the audience. “Bruno, you tell me that she’s the love of your life. And she looks at me like that with eyes… And she says to me ‘we’re not married, maybe one day…'” Jarry first said to tease the candidate.

To which Bruno replied: “It’s going to happen love, it’s going to happen” turning towards his partner. And Jarry insists: “Are you ever going to stand up like that and say ‘do you want to marry me?'”. The candidate then explained that he has already planned everything: “We will do this in the snow, in the Vosges”.
That was without counting Jarry who tried to make their moment memorable. “I say we should do it on TV… Don’t you think so? In front of millions of French people!”. Neither one nor two, the candidate then stepped forward into the audience and made his request to Sylvie. “Will you marry me my love?” he asked tenderly. With tears in her eyes, the young woman of course accepted. Enough to make Jarry all emotional. “As it’s a first, obviously, I’m a little bit moved,” he said.
