A single shadow on the board came to spoil the daily life of the young 24-year-old mother, a terrible scam organized by crooks pretending to be her bank. Guest on the show We redo the TV on RTL this Saturday June 4, the pretty blonde confided in the presenters Eric Dussart and Jade.
“They call me, they say to me: ‘Yes, there is a fraud on your credit card, you have to validate something on your bank app.’ I start doing what he tells me” explains the young woman. Very quickly, she realizes that something is wrong. The person on the other end of the line, for example, did not ask him the famous secret security question put in place by certain banks. “I forgot it existed. I realize that, it’s weird, but the money isn’t coming back, it’s leaving” she adds before highlighting the power of persuasion of scammers: “He took out my account number, my first name, my last name, my date of birth…. They are too professional. When we have them on the phone, [on a l’impression que] it’s the bank she assured to do prevention.
She ends up hanging up before dialing the number of her bank… which confirms that no one has called her. “There, we had to change everything, my account numbers and everything” confided the singer who lost a “large sum” of money. Fortunately, thanks to her good insurance, the singer was able to recover the entire amount stolen.
