On September 3, 2001, David Pujadas landed on France Télévisions to present the 8 p.m. television news on France 2. An experience in public service that will last since this journalist, a former reporter on TF1 from 1989 to 1994, will present his last newspaper on the channel on June 8, 2017. A longevity that quite simply earned him a record in this position on France 2.
Guest of the program “We redo the TV”, presented by Jade and Eric Dussart on Saturday January 14 on RTL, the one who now officiates on LCI returned to this period on the JT of France 2 and took the opportunity to reveal a crisp anecdote. After spending his summer holidays in the Dordogne, this 58-year-old journalist born in Barcelona decides to go get his hair cut in a salon he doesn’t usually go to, located in Périgueux. And not everything will go as planned… “I was daydreaming a bit, and when I woke up, I saw that he cut me… It was the 21st marine infantry regiment, hard version! There was nothing left, panic on board” , remembered David Pujadas.
This new cut does not suit him frankly, and all the more so as the return to television is about to point the tip of his nose, the journalist resolves to find a wigmaker so as not to resume the animation of the television news of 8 p.m. with this new head. “For 15 days, I wore this wig, no one noticed!”, had fun David Pujadas on the airwaves of the station.
