This Is Me… Now | Jennifer Lopez cancels seven concerts on her tour

Without fanfare, singer Jennifer Lopez canceled the last seven dates of her North American tour. No reason was given, but these cancellations come as ticket sales are slow to take off.

The magazine Entertainment Weekly revealed on Wednesday that the final dates of the tour This Is Me…Now were canceled. In total, seven shows, all scheduled for the end of August, were removed from the list: Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston.

According to EW“a logistical problem with the promoter” would be at the origin of this decision, which nevertheless occurs in a context of sales for JLo, who will begin her tour in June – her first in five years.

The tour still has around thirty stops in North America. According to the Ticketmaster website, the vast majority of tickets have still not found buyers, almost a month after they went on sale.

For the show at the Bell Center, scheduled for August 5, the far seats (sections 200, 300 and 400) are practically all filled, but the choice still abounds in the sections close to the stage, where tickets sell for $250 and plus unity.

Released in mid-February, This Is Me…Now is Jennifer Lopez’s ninth studio album and her first in 10 years. To highlight its release, the singer produced the film This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, whose screenplay is written by her husband, Ben Affleck. According to the magazine Varietyit is a 20 million, self-financed “multimedia project” which recounts the reunion of the duo, who married in 2022, almost 20 years after their separation.
