Between Cyril Hanouna and padel, it’s a great love story. The viewers of “Touche pas à mon poste” can attest to this since the star host of C8 regularly shared during the last season his appetite for this sport which presents itself as a kind of mix between tennis and squash. And he does not hide it, the father of Lino and Bianca gives more and more importance to this booming activity.
So between his activities as a producer and host, the one who made his TV comeback last Monday does not forget to give himself a good time to develop his qualities as a padel player. The result is there since he can now be proud of being a professional padel player. And he sees further. In an interview with Le Parisien, Cyril Hanouna, currently ranked 240th, said he wanted to reach the French Top 100 in the first quarter of 2023: “There, I’m 240th, I’m going to do a lot of tournaments this summer to try to enter the top 200 already. We’ll see later for the top 100,” he said.
Padel and television
But Cyril Hanouna has more ideas and intends to develop and make padel known to as many people as possible through a medium that he masters rather not too badly… television! In an interview with Var Matin, the influential 47-year-old producer returned to his new program in preparation “Objectif Top 100” in which we will see him evolve in this sport he loves so much. “Until December, the cameras follow me in training and soon in matches. We will be able to see my evolution”, did he declare. The show should be broadcast in early 2023 on the MyCanal platform and possibly on C8 or another group channel.
And Cyril Hanouna sees even bigger by wanting to please his many fans. He thus wishes to offer another program devoted to padel. According to information from Padel Magazine, it would be a “special show” in which the overflowing troublemaker will play padel for 24 hours non-stop. On this occasion, he will of course be accompanied by teammates from this sport. This meeting should bring together many celebrities, and allow anyone to come and challenge the host on a padel court with many gifts of all kinds at the key… That’s promising!
