Great? It is without a doubt. What father or mother could say the opposite about their child? Certainly not Stromae. The Belgian artist who returned to the front of the stage at the start of 2022 by presenting his new title hell live in the JT of Anne Claire Coudray on TF1. A special moment relayed by all the media and the singer’s fans. But in addition to announcing his “return”, by this interpretation, Stromae also shared the evils that led him, and still lead, his life hard. The latter being plunged into a deep depression for several years.
To give him a smile, the “friend” of Orelsan has been able to count on the support of his companion and his son who has filled him with happiness since his arrival. He also confided in the subject of his little boy in the columns of Madame Figaro this Thursday, March 17. The interpreter of Papaoutai assuring that he was doing everything to protect him. So much so that he kept a big secret about him. “My son is 3 years old, I protect him and I don’t even want to reveal his first name”he revealed to our colleagues before giving the reason for this choice: “We are very well in your little family nucleus. We listen to music all the time, and I am an omnipresent dad”.
As mentioned above, Stromae can also thank his wife for her daily support. Without her, he might not be where he is today. Whether in terms of his musical career, his state of health, but also and above all for his new role as dad. “My ability to be a good dad, I owe it above all to Coralie. My own father lived in Rwanda, where he remained until his death. He sometimes came to Belgium… I saw him a dozen times”, he reminded himself.
Stromae finally concluding by evoking his childhood far from having been easy: “I don’t have a clear paternal model, the reference at home was my big brothers”.
