Beyond her great popularity and her success as a singer, Nolwenn Leroy is also fighting a heavy battle against illness. Sponsor of the Foundation which fights against Alzheimer’s disease, the Breton woman tries every year to collect as many donations as possible. Last September, she took her Instagram account to send a message to her subscribers. In a story relayed by the Leclerc stores, partners of the foundation, Arnaud Clément’s companion called for everyone’s solidarity: “I’m counting on you to break all records!“.
And in view of the check brandished by the mother of Marin a few months later, it seems that his wish has been heard. On June 30, the Foundation announced very good news from its Twitter account: “Record beaten by the #uneOrchidpourlamémoire operation of which @Nolwennleroyoff is the godmother! In 2021 more than 960 K € collected for #research on #alzheimer. See you in September for the 2022 edition in @Leclerc stores“.
After a year of remarkable customer generosity, despite the crisis, E.Leclerc is indeed continuing its fight for Alzheimer’s research and should renew the “An Orchid for Memory” operation next September. “Again, for each “double stem” orchid purchased in an E.Leclerc center, 4 euros will be donated to the Alzheimer Research Foundation.“, indicates the foundation almost a year ago.
