This former magician, who used his job to get closer to his prey, is now before the courts for acts of “incestuous rape”, “rape of a 15-year-old minor”, “sexual assault” and “corruption of minor” out of 27 children, aged 3 to 15 at the time of the events.
It is La Dépêche which reveals information that sends shivers down the spine on this subject. The latter would have succeeded in becoming “the friend of the family, the good uncle who looks after the children”, he is also described as “very jovial, open-minded”, “a kind of modus operandi”, according to Me Gwendoline Tenier , a lawyer for one of the victims.
Aged 36, the man in question has raged in several regions of France: in Brittany, but also in Normandy, in Deux-Sèvres and also in Switzerland. According to our colleagues, the latter very often acted in the homes of the parents of his victims.
It was in 2017, when he was placed in pre-trial detention, that he will recognize most of the facts. The trial opens today before the Assize Court of Ille-et-Vilaine and is expected to last three weeks. The verdict is expected on October 21.
